What does the flood damage restoration process involve?

At DRS, we ensure quick and effective measures are undertaken, so any damage due to floods is at a minimum:

1. 24/7 Availability – Water Damage Specialist arrives onsite within 1 hour of initial call
2. On-site Inspection – The water category is assessed. The nature of the flood determines the next steps and potential damage to the property
3. Estimate – An initial cost estimate is provided for endorsement before commencement of work
4. Extraction of Water – The immediate next step is to remove all standing water to mitigate the loss and prevent further damage
5. Drying – Dehumidifiers & other restorative equipment are strategically deployed to dry all affected areas & contents
6. Clean Up – Decontamination of affected areas is undertaken to prevent microbial growth
7. Restoration – Minor works, as required, are carried out
8. Monitoring/Follow Up – This is done to ensure no damage is left unresolved
